ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY: National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, is a State Public University established by Act No. 4 of Jharkhand State Assembly in 2010. It is a leading law University in Jharkhand. It aims to develop professionally competent, socially responsible, and research-oriented legal graduates. Through teaching, research, advocacy training, legal aid, and community outreach, NUSRL works to strengthen legal education and contribute to justice-oriented social development.

FACILITIES FOR STUDENTS: National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi provides a fully residential academic environment with facilities that support both study and personal development. The University Spread across 63 acres on Kanke-Pithoria Road, Ranchi, surrounded by a serene and eco-friendly environment. The University has a sprawling campus with state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities consisting of Academic Blocks, Administration Block, separate Halls of Residence for boys and girls, dedicated Moot Court Hall, and a fully air-conditioned Auditorium for holding conferences and seminars. The campus also includes a library, internet access, multitude of e-resources, mess facilities, cafeteria, medical support, counselling support, and sports facilities such as Badminton Court, Tennis Court, Volleyball Court, Basketball Turf, Football Turf, Cricket Ground and other student-support services.

LIBRARY: NUSRL has a well-developed and rich library with a wide range of books on law, legal classics, social sciences, public administration, taxation, intellectual property, constitutional law, and related disciplines. The library also provides access to reputed law journals, reviews, newspapers, magazines, and electronic resources such as SCC, Manupatra, J-stor, LexisNexis, Westlaw, Heinonline, Live law, Legit Quest, ONOS, The Economic & Political Weekly, The Journal of The Indian Law Institute, The Patents and Trade Mark Cases along with back volume CD, Taxman Journals, All India Reporter, Indian Journal of Public Administration, weekly subscription of India Today, The Week, Time, Outlook, Frontline (fortnightly) and Sports Star etc. Regular newspapers subscription includes, The Times of India, The Telegraph, The Economic Times, The Hindu, The Statesman, The Financial Express, The Pioneer, Hindustan Times, Prabhat Khabar (Hindi) and Hindustan (Hindi) etc. It supports students, research scholars, and faculty members in academic study, legal research, moot court preparation, seminars, and publication work.

CAMPUS LIFE: NUSRL, Ranchi offers a balanced campus life that combines academics, co-curricular activities, extracurricular engagement, and sports. Students participate in Seminars, Moot Court Competitions, Debate Competitions, Quiz Programs, Workshops, and Legal Training Activities.
