EFLU: A PIONEER IN LANGUAGE(S) EDUCATION AND SKILLS TRAINING
The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), an institution of global repute, has made an indelible mark on language pedagogy and research in languages and literatures. Its inspiring journey of more than six decades, the University has transformed the landscape of English and foreign languages’ instruction across the country. Headquartered in Hyderabad, the University has two campuses, one in Shillong and the other in Lucknow. One of the University’s remarkable achievements is its continued commitment to national and international training programmes.

KEY INITIATIVES AND ACTIVITIES
ITP Programmes: The International Training Programmes (ITP) wing of the university conducts language proficiency and professional development programmes for foreign professionals. The ITP receives its impetus from the ITEC scholarships offered by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, to developing countries in Africa, South Asia, South East Asia, Central Asia and Latin America. The ITP programmes have so far trained participants from more than 150 countries.

CCLT Programmes: The Centre for Consultancy and Language Training (CCLT) of the university offers high-quality, customized training programs designed for institutions and organizations across India. Those interested in availing the Centre’s services can write to directorcclt@efluniversity.ac.in.
