V. M. Salgaocar College of Law is a government-aided law college situated at Miramar in Panjim in the Indian state of Goa. It offers 3 years of LL.B., 5 years of integrated Law courses, and LL.M. which is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI). V. M. Salgaocar College of Law was established in 1973 by the Devi Sharvani Education Society. Initially, the college was known as the Mahadevrao Salgaocar College of Law. In 1997 the college was renamed as V. M. Salgaocar College of Law.

LIBRARY: This fully automated library is the first of its kind and is one of the best law libraries in India. It supports the essential and specialized information needs of the Institute’s faculty and students. The College library has a rapidly expanding collection of books, which includes textbooks and reference works on a range of topics, including Constitutional Law, International Law, Labour Law, Consumer Protection, Intellectual Property Rights, Women & Law, Child Rights, Criminal Law, Criminology, Human Rights, and others. The College Library has also subscribed to a number of renowned databases, e-books, and e-journals, and the collection is steadily growing in accordance with academic standards. The library of V.M Salgaocar College of Law is one of the leading Law Libraries of India and attracts scholars from all over India for Legal Education and Research. The University Grants Commission has recognized the college as a place for legal education and research leading to Bachelor, Master, and Doctorate Degrees in Law.
