Established on August 23, 2018, Khaja Bandanawaz University is a rapidly emerging educational institution, set under the Karnataka State Government Legislation Act (No. 18 of 2018). Though relatively new, the university is already on its path to becoming a leader in higher education, offering quality education and fostering holistic development.

The visionary Padma Shri Hazrath Syed Shah Muhammad Muhammad Al-Hussaini (Rh), established Khaja Education Society in 1958. His profound impact on education has had a lasting legacy. He was succeeded by the late Hazrat Dr. Syed Shah Khusro Hussaini (Rh), the Founder Chancellor of Khaja Bandanawaz University. Dr. Hussaini, a perfectionist and forward-thinking leader, worked tirelessly to establish the university, developing a variety of faculties that have contributed to its growth.

Today His Excellency, The Chancellor Syed Muhammad Ali Al-Hussaini, is leaving no stone unturned in carrying forward the vision of his father and grandfather with great commitment. Mr Ali Al-Hussaini continues to drive the university’s progress, leading advancements across diverse fields from Information Technology (IT) to Sports, and overseeing extensive planning and development.

As a growing educational institution, Khaja Bandanawaz University is set to feature one of the most stunning campuses in the country. With state-of-the-art infrastructure, the university provides students with numerous opportunities for success in various disciplines, including medicine, engineering and technology, law, humanities, social sciences, science, languages, arts, commerce, and management.
