PLACEMENT:
Few companies and/or their partners came to visit our campus for possible recruitments. Here is the few of them – TCS, Larsen & Toubro, Srei Sahaj e-Village Ltd., Tatwa & Limtex, Nicco Ventures, SRF Ltd, Tech Mahindra, Air Cell etc.
About 30 Students have been placed through direct campus recruitment.
About 50 students have been placed after giving training on focused area.
A total of 20 students have been placed through off-campus mode.

The West Bengal State University (WBSU), Barasat was established in the year 2008. After the initial teething problems that persisted for a rather long time of about six to seven years, the University is now at a position to stand before the world in respect of assessment and it is contributing well in the field of teaching, learning process and research. The University held its first Convocation on its foundation day i.e February 25 in 2017. Since then the university is organizing it every year on the same day till the year on the same day till the year 2020.

LIBRARY: The University Library of West Bengal State University started its journey 10 years back with a collection of 1800 books. It was housed at the university’s Guest House. About 8 years back the collection was shifted to its present location at the academic building of the university. Over the years collection of the library has grown and at present the library has more than 30510 books on almost all the subjects. It has a great collection of rare books in the form of hardcopy as well as electronic copy. The library is equipped with more than 50 computers with high speed internet facility. Wi-Fi facility is also available now. With the help of the University Librarian who has joined recently, the pace of the modernization of library has been on an accelerated path.

FEE STRUCTURE: (INR)
Master of Arts – Admission Fee of Rs. 4,600/-. Apart from this
Rs. 400/- is to be paid for new Registration.
Registration. M.A. in Arabic is Rs. 6000.
Master of Science – Admission Fee of Rs. 5,800/- Apart from this
Rs. 400/- is to be paid for new Registration.
Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.): Admission Fee of
Rs. 24,150/- Apart from this Rs.600/- is to be paid for new Registration.
Bachelor in Library and Information Sciences (B.Lib.Sc.) : Admission Fee of Rs. 11,900/- Apart from this Rs.600/- is to be paid for new Registration.
