CHARUSAT: A Vision That Became a Movement
In the heart of Charotar the revered land of Sardar Patel stands a university that was born from a dream. Conceived by Shri Charotar Moti Sattavis Patidar Kelavani Mandal, Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT) was established with a clear and ambitious vision: to place India firmly on the global education map and transform Charotar into a thriving global education hub.

Over the years, that vision has steadily taken shape.

Today, CHARUSAT offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes across disciplines such as Engineering, Pharmacy, Allied and Healthcare Sciences, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Computer Applications, Sciences, Management, and Humanities. What sets the University apart is its strong focus on outcome-based education ensuring that students do not just earn degrees, but graduate with the skills, confidence, and perspective needed to excel globally.

In just over two decades, CHARUSAT has built a legacy marked by credibility and recognition. Accredited with an A+ Grade by NAAC and recognised as a Centre of Excellence by the Government of Gujarat, the University has consistently upheld high academic standards.

Leading the Way in Digital Transformation
Innovation at CHARUSAT is not confined to classrooms and laboratories. In 2019, it became the first university in Western India to implement paperless examinations. Since then, all university examinations have been conducted digitally, with students writing their exams on tablets a bold step toward sustainability and technological integration.

The University’s expertise in digital examinations and e-governance has also supported other institutions, including Rashtriya Raksha University, Manipal University Jaipur, and MIT Vishwa Prayag University, Solapur. Its ERP-based e-governance system has been extended to universities such as Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalay and Gandhinagar University, reflecting the trust it commands in academic administration.
