Research & Innovation: DIT University aims to lead in applied and transformative research that addresses real-world challenges and benefits society. Supported by agencies like DST, DRDO, CSIR, UGC, and UCOST, its scholars produce impactful research. The Centre for Innovation, Incubation, Entrepreneurship and Startups (CIIES) fosters creativity and converts ideas into ventures. Through the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), over 250 events have promoted innovation and IPR awareness. The Technology Business Incubator (TBI), recognized by Startup Uttarakhand and MSME, supports emerging startups, while the IPR Cell strengthens innovation culture with about 100 patents filed annually.
Placement: DIT University has continued the legacy of excellent placement track record for the batch of 2024-25. The year 2024-25 witnessed an excellent placement record with the highest number of offers from last 5 years, not only our average, highest compensation has achieved new milestones but we were also able to add many prominent brands across different sectors. The academic year (2024-2025) ended with 615+ offers and companies in all the sectors like IT & ITES, Consulting, Banking & Finance Engineering Services with, multiple profiles, including many new recruiters.
The Average Compensation for the batch of 2024-25 is 6.00 LPA. The highest compensation for the batch of 2024-25 is PALO ALTO (44 LPA) & second highest is Juspay (27 LPA). The placement season for Academic Year 2026 has begun and the students have also started bagging the pre placement offers from brands like KPMG, Oracle, Deloitte, HSBC Technology.
HOSTEL: Hostel provides feeling of Home-Away-From-Home to the students. Keeping in view the same philosophy we provide a secure, comfortable and healthy environment for all the residents of the DIT University hostels. The hostel accommodation comprises of American style apartments which are well furnished, hygienic and have ultramodern amenities. Each apartment has three rooms shared by two students each, a lobby and attached bathroom.
